Preparesparticipation in tender and leads negotiation with customers both technicallyand commerciallyCoordinatesoverall planning of the project and decides on allocation of resources.Clarifiesspecification and continuously liaise with accountable Project ManagerInternal.
Monitorsmilestone and adherence to budgets, and initiates actions to minimizenon-conformance cost.
Maintainsconstant communication to customers, outside contractors or other stakeholders.Must take alead role in Technical design of the systemMaycoordinate agreed commissioning measures onsite, together with Site EngineeringManagement.May Lead inthe Hardware design and component integration.Involved withonsite commissioning.Ensureunified design between Hardware, drawings, and the Software coding.Relevant tertiary qualification in ElectricalEngineering Industry-recognized Project Managementaccreditation (SACPCMP Certification) (Preferred)Minimum 5 years' experience in the designmanagement, construction and operation of systems in an industrial environment.
(Greenand Brownfield Projects)South African recognized PMP certification/equivalent(Advantageous)Proven track-record in the delivery of complexsystems and solutions including Engineering and construction work.Must be able to work independently, takingdecisions and actioning them.A strong working knowledge of Industrial control Systemsusing the Siemens Product range.Familiarity with NEC 3, Fidic and JBCC ContractManagementCross-border experience in Africa is advantageous.Must have worked on Project ManagementSystems/Software such MS projects.Familiarity with AutoCAD and E-plan advantageousPrior experience working on Turnkey ProjectsAttributes and SkillsStrongadministration and time management skills.Advancedinterpersonal skillsAbility tolead virtual project team/s to a successful implementation across countries.Financial AcumenExcellent intercultural skills tocooperate with customersMust be willing to travelOur culture:Ourculture embraces different perspectives, open debate, and the will to challengeconvention.
