The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality English language instruction to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the academic success of our institution.Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching English:Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English language lessons for students of various age groups and proficiency levels.Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, listening, and speaking skills.Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that cater to students' needs and learning styles.Conduct assessments, track student progress, and provide constructive feedback.Classroom Management:Maintain a disciplined and positive classroom environment.Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.Curriculum Development:Work collaboratively with the department to design, review, and update English curricula to meet the needs of students.Integrate modern teaching techniques and educational technology into lessons.Student Engagement and Support:Provide additional support to students who need extra help or face challenges with the English language.Encourage student participation and foster a love for learning.Parent and Staff Communication:Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.Attend school meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.Cultural Sensitivity:Respect and understand local culture and customs, maintaining a positive relationship with students, staff, and the wider community.Qualifications & RequirementsEducational Background:Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (required) or PGCEExperience:Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar roleExperience teaching non-native English speakers is a plus.
