As the Sustainable Development Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to ensure sustainable practices across the organization.Responsibilities include overseeing the development and execution of sustainability initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to drive sustainable innovations, and monitoring the company's environmental and social performance. You will also be responsible for managing relationships with external organizations and promoting sustainability initiatives internally and externally.The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sustainable development, experience in project management, and excellent communication skills. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the environment and have experience in driving sustainable initiatives, we would love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement Sustainable Development strategies and programsMonitor and evaluate the impact of Sustainable Development on the company and its processesIdentify opportunities for improvement and implement themImplement Sustainable Development monitoring and control systemsCompile scope of work and tender specifications for identified activities to be placed on tenderEnsure compliance with Sustainable Development regulations and standardsParticipate in litigation and resolve Sustainable Developmental issuesAnalyze data and produce reports and recommendationsDevelop strategies and action plans to promote Sustainable DevelopmentCommunicate with regulators, business partners, stakeholders, and industry stakeholdersOversee the development of procedures and processes related to Sustainable DevelopmentParticipate in awareness-raising activities related to sustainable developmentTrain and coach teams in Sustainable DevelopmentLicence to Operate:Ensures ongoing compliance with statutory SHE requirements for the maintenance of the mine licence tooperate by:Your role in verifying compliance, advising line management, and assisting with implementing of new and existing SHE-related legislation and company rules is crucial to the company's ongoing complianceYour ensuring that prevention inspections are not just completed regularly, but thoroughly, and that proper records are meticulously maintainedEnsuring that accidents are investigated and relevant documentation completed accurately within acceptable time framesEmpowers line management by providing comprehensive support and expertise in incident investigation and reporting, including 9providing templates for incident reports, conducting root cause analysis, and offering guidance on corrective actions)Department Management:Manages staff and business partner performance by:Setting performance standards and goalsMonitor and appraise performance against standards and agreed goals;
