Job Purpose: In order to integrate sustainability practices within the current business model, the Sustainable Development Manager will identify external and internal sustainability trends and detect potential risks and opportunities with the aim to assist XX to become a leader amongst its industry peers in corporate governance and sustainability. Integrates SHE Strategic processes throughout the organisation.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree Hons/Btech in Engineering and relevant SafetyManagement Qualification at (NQF Level 7) and 8 to 10 years' experience in sustainability development and contractor management in mining industry at senior management level Training in:
OMSOC 1 & 2Risk AssessmentManagement or leadership qualification will be advantageous Equipment and Systems: IsoMetrix Safety Management systemICAM surveillance equipment and systemWorkflowEmployee Self Service system Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrable management skills (planning, leading, organising, controlling)Report writing skillsProfessional, verbal, and written communication in EnglishCommunication and networking skills within the organisation and externallyMicrosoft Office Professional (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)Knowledge of Environmental, Health, Hygiene and Security related regulations and requirements Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the application thereofStrong project management, conflict resolution and facilitation skills;Strong research skills and ability to analyse and interpret data to create reports; Closing Date: 31 July 2024
