Operates Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers for citywide GPS observations.Maintains and cares for all surveying instruments, updates data, maintains vehicles as assigned, and directs survey crew activities as required.Researches support documentation for field and office surveying activities and maintains the City's computerized benchmark database and creates reports.This position ensures that work meets the requirements of Chapter 472 of the Florida Statutes, Land Surveying and Mapping, and the Standards of Practice in Chapter 5J-17 of the Florida Administrative Code.Perform other related duties as required.
