They are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Back-of-House Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and support various departments.

Our client is looking for a dedicated Back-of-House Operations Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be the go-to person for coordinating essential back-of-house functions, directly contributing to their mission of creating magical experiences and preserving wild spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordination: Lead the coordination of operations, ensuring all departments function cohesively.Team Management: Oversee daily activities, providing leadership and direction to a small team responsible for various back-of-house tasks.Cleanliness & Laundry: Manage the cleaning team rota and ensure efficient operation of laundry and linen services.Sustainability: Implement and maintain sustainable waste and recycling management practices.Canteen Management: Coordinate the canteen system and collaborate with the Head Chef on weekly food shopping needs.HR Support: Assist department heads with HR matters, including contract administration, employee onboarding and offboarding, and disciplinary processes.Visitor Management: Manage and coordinate incoming visitors such as external consultants and contractors.Accommodation Oversight: Oversee worker accommodation usage.Maintenance Liaison: Liaise with local service providers to address maintenance issues efficiently.Delivery Management: Oversee deliveries across all business areas, ensuring proper recording and communication with department heads.Matric with Maths Literacy.A relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.Proficiency in English; Afrikaans and an African language are beneficial.Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong administrative skills with basic computer proficiency, particularly in Google Documents and Excel.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Diplomatic and professional approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.Who You Are: Signs You'd Be a Good Fit:
