Job Purpose:To assist the Project and Support manager to manage the Supply Chain activities in South Africa with regards to operational implementation, cost and procedural control together and to give support in development of tariffs and Supply Chain strategies. To support national teams in new business development and improvement projects. Job Function:Analysis and reportingExtract and draft summary reports for national management to have a snapshot on the county especially on: the supply chain design, business plan simulations, financial simulations, operations process design and simulationAnalyse and monitor warehousing KPI's and reporting and put action plans together every month for all sitesHarmonise methods used in the countryABC analysis for new and existing clientsProductivity reportsISWorking closely with the IS department to ensure the correct solution is providedLevel 1 supportCommercialSupport local teams in completing the business plan templateEnsure warehouse RFQ/Ps in line with best practicesSupport local teams in responding to RFQ/Ps and providing an optimum solution to the clientComplianceAlign practical SOP with documentation and actual activity in the warehouseEnsure IT infrastructure and the WMS implemented for warehousing operations are compliant with IT Department best practicesParticipate in the conception of the projectsDesign technical solutions of the logistic projectsDefine, validate the solutions (operational, design of the WMS) and the procedures « profession » to be implemented in order to respond to customer expectations, agreed with his hierarchy, IT department and support functions of the companyDefine the stakes and conditions to implement the roll-out of the solutionParticipate in implementation of the projectsPart of the project teamProduce all of documentation necessary (Training guides…)Perform all of WMS solution testsTrain end usersSupport for go-liveMonitor day to day operationsTroubleshoot production issuesRoot cause analysisLiaise with vendor and/or regional IT to close issuesDevelop support documentationLiaise with operations and/or customersLiaise with regional team and/or vendor / OperationsParticipate to operationsAnalyse respect of processes and WMS useControl integrity of WMS dataOperations:Monitor and reconcile cycle countsMonitor and reconcile yearly physical inventoryAssist with inventory discrepancies where requiredMonitor, analyse and build Key performance indicatorsOther duties and/or responsibilities as assignedContinuous improvement of operationsProvide advice and technical assistance to customer, operations and sales.Communicate with the network Supply Chain information about all possibilitiesLiaise with operations / client / regional teamPropose solutions of improvement and reorganizationFollow-up and reporting regular of the continuous improvement projectsCompany internal relationshipsSupply Chain manager, Supply Operation manager, Warehouse managerIT/IS teamsMembers project team: in order to fulfil objectivesAll support functions: QHSE, HR....Company external relationshipsClients: analyse, proposition of solutions and implementation)Suppliers: research of the best solutions and best costs Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:Tertiary education in either logistics or supply chain managementTraining in MS Office suite and other industry related courses will be advantage2-3 years' experience in supply chain or a related field  RULES AND REGULATIONSEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with the departmental and company procedure manual.Ensure that I understand the Rules and Regulations of all statutory bodies.Ensure that the Company's Principles are adhered to.To be fully aware of and comply with current responsibilities and requirements of the relevant Acts, Regulations and standard applicable Quality, Health and Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.Report all hazards, incidents, and injuries in accordance with legislation and company reporting procedures.Participate in programs and assessments to improve IMS system in the workplace.
