Supply Chain and Planning ManagerHire Resolve's client is looking for a motivated and experienced Supply Chain and Planning Manager to join their team in the food production industry in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, procurement, production planning, and logistics within the food production sector.Responsibilities:Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products.Manage and coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.Oversee production planning and scheduling to ensure efficient use of resources and meet production timelines.Evaluate and improve inventory management processes to minimize waste and maximize product availability.Coordinate logistics and distribution to ensure the smooth flow of products from production to customers.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Lead a team of supply chain and planning professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management and planning, preferably in the food production industry.Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in Factory Scheduling, Demand Planning, and Capacity Planning.Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions to improve supply chain performance.Experience in Syspro and Microsoft Office Suite.Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.Salary: negotiable.Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Ashley Feldtmann at Hire Resolve or on LinkedIn.We will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
