A leading financial institution is seeking a talented Supply Chain Officer to join their Global Transactional Banking team. The ideal candidate will excel in developing and maintaining customer relationships, focusing on supply chain (vendor) management in line with the bank's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement work schedules to identify and market to prospective customers. Daily monitoring, collating, and analysing corporate collections reports. Manage and engage with vendors, ensuring alignment with the bank's strategy. Conduct joint calls with the relationship team to corporates. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance collection volumes. Deploy innovative solutions to improve collection processes. Assist in preparing management information reports. Develop product papers and credit programs for corporates and their vendors. Sign on new vendors and assist with facility booking follow-ups. Maintain positive public relations with current and prospective customers. Plan and report on marketing calls for the assigned portfolio. Structure trade and working capital facilities to meet customer needs. Monitor customer compliance with agreed terms and provide support for credit committee proposals. Negotiate fees and interest rates within bank limits to ensure maximum profitability. Track sales performance against set targets and provide inputs to the units annual budget. Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager and Head of GTS. Qualifications: A good first Degree in any discipline. Professional certification in Cash Management and/or Trade Finance is a plus. Minimum of 1-2 years experience, preferably in banking or a financial institution.
