Job DescriptionMy client is an award-winning supplier of premium automotive accessories to the Sub-Saharan Africa and Middle Eastern markets. They manufacture and supply mats and related accessory products using top quality materials and craftsmanship to OEM, CBU, and aftermarket principals.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSalary: R20,000 - R30,000 per monthPastel experience will be a bonus.Excel experience is a must.Working hours: Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Friday: 7:00 AM to 12:30 PMMIBCO Provident Fund (Motor Industry Association)Key responsibilities:Supply Chain Management: Coordinating the entire supply chain process, from procurement of raw materials to delivery of finished products.Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, optimizing inventory turnover, and ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demands without excess.Warehousing: Overseeing warehouse operations, including storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods, while maintaining inventory accuracy.Cost Management: Identifying opportunities to reduce transportation costs, minimize inventory holding costs, and improve overall logistics efficiency.Risk Management: Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and developing strategies to mitigate them, such as implementing contingency plans for disruptions in transportation or supply.Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards related to transportation, customs, and trade.Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as procurement, manufacturing, sales, and customer service to optimize logistics processes and meet organizational goals.Please let me know if you have any questions.Desired Experience & QualificationsSupply Chain, inventory, and procurement experience is essential.
