The CompanyGlobe 24-7 in partnership with a key client are working together to source an experienced and qualified French Speaking Supply Chain Manager for their team in West Africa.Key Responsibilities:Supply Chain Management: Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.Logistics Coordination: Manage the transportation and logistics of materials, equipment, and goods to ensure timely delivery to the project site.Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies that ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials and services, while maintaining high-quality standards.Import/Export Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations related to the import and export of goods.Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to support the project's needs.Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining the efficiency and reliability of the supply chain.Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate risks associated with supply chain activities, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.Reporting: Provide regular reports on supply chain performance, including KPIs, cost analysis, and risk assessments to senior management.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong background in the mining industry.Language: Fluent in French essential, plus proficiency in English.Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
