Our client is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage the full supply chain function, from procurement and logistics to warehousing and distribution.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, particularly in a manufacturing environment, and will play a key role in optimizing the companys supply chain strategy.
Responsibilities:Ensure that order levels are optimized and maintained according to the production plan.Support the Chief Operations Officer (COO) in executing the companys supply chain strategy.Analyze supply chain data and performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-effective solutions.Maintain accurate records and generate reports for all supply chain activities.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders.Lead and oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, planning, and warehousing.Manage and coach the supply chain team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.Oversee the performance management process for the team in line with company procedures and policies.Stay informed on industry regulations related to supply chain management and ensure compliance.Develop and implement sustainable practices across all aspects of the supply chain.Advise the COO on supply chain matters with accurate insights and recommendations.Key Skills:Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify improvements and optimize supply chain performance.Effective communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills for managing supplier relationships and team dynamics.Proficiency in MS Office packages and supply chain management software (e.g., ERP systems).Leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing a supply chain team.Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure efficient supply chain operations.Knowledge of sustainability practices and ability to implement them in the supply chain.A minimum of 10 years of experience in a supply chain environment, with at least 5 years in a hands-on managerial role in a manufacturing or factory setting.Experience in the cosmetics industry is highly advantageous.Proven experience in forecasting within a manufacturing environment.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
