The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating inbound shipments, managing relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) partners, and ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive operational excellence and support the growth of our client's business.Responsibilities:Coordinate inbound shipments from the factory to the warehouse, ensuring on-time delivery and addressing potential delaysManage relationships with 3PL partners for receiving, fulfillment, outbound shipments, and warehousing inventory, ensuring on-time delivery and addressing potential delaysOptimize logistics operations for cost and efficiency by identifying and proposing solutions to further improve processesMaintain and continue developing relationships with B2B partnersExecute B2B orders following vendor guidelinesCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align on logistics operations and improvementsUtilize tools and technologies such as Shopify, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Excel to manage and track inventory and order processesTrack and analyze key performance indicators including managing 3PL for on-time delivery, managing suppliers for on-time delivery, and identifying and proposing solutions to optimize processesRequirementsExpertise in managing inbound shipments and logistics operationsExperience in retail and inventory-based consumer brands, preferably with a background in fashion, CPG, or other consumer categoriesProficiency in working with third-party logistics (3PL) providersStrong skills in maintaining B2B relationships and effective negotiation and contract management abilitiesDemonstrated ability to manage 3PL and suppliers for on-time delivery and effectively communicate potential delaysEffective negotiation and contract management abilitiesKnowledge of inventory management and order tracking systemsFamiliarity with tools and technologies such as Shopify, WMS, and ExcelProven experience in identifying and proposing solutions to optimize supply chain processesStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to generate actionable insightsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersBenefitsHybrid remote/in-officeBirthday offProfessional development & training opportunities& More being added!
