Job Purpose
The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has opportunities for suitably qualified and competent individuals to identify, take on and allocate assets.
Recommendation
Relevant experience in an asset management / warehouse management / inventory management environment. A valid Code B (or higher) driving licence. Note: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities but have reasonable access to transport may also apply.
Key Performance Areas
Order and Receive assets; Obtain quotes in accordance with policies and prescripts; Maintain contracts file and asset register; Report on movement of assets; Check if transactions comply with legislative requirements with regards to transaction control sheet.
Skills in the following: Computer literacy in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook); Written and verbal Communication; Concern for others; Self-management; Diversity citezen; Knowledge of accounting.
Remuneration
R 216 417 per annum (Salary level 5)

Notes
Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting.
