Supply Chain General Manager (Executive) - Swaziland
Salary: Permanent, must be a Swazi Citizen
Purpose of Position: Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Supply Chain General Manager (Executive) for a permanent position based in Swaziland, Eswatini. Please note, only Swazi citizens are considered for this role, either based in Swaziland Eswatini or those looking to move back home.

Minimum Requirements

Must be a Swaziland citizen, South African citizens will not be considered.
Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent.
Post graduate qualification or leadership development course an added advantage.
5 years Senior Managerial experience in Supply Chain in FMCG.
Proficient in use of MS Office suite.
Working knowledge of ERP systems.
Knowledge of SAP an added advantage.

Summary of Responsibilities
Develop and ensure effective implementation of the supply chain strategy (warehousing & distribution). Develop and ensure effective management and implementation of the supply chain budget (warehousing & distribution). Ensure the development of policies, processes and procedures to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain, whilst ensuring adherence to SLAs, quality and safety. Ensure the development of supply chain metrics and KPIs and oversee that these are met, to include inbound/outbound service levels, shortages, damages and expiries kept within budget. Maintain relations with external stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain. Maintain relations with clients and customers in support of high inbound and outbound service levels. Support the collaboration with relevant stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain. Supervise the primary distribution function, ensuring optimal performance and providing guidance as required. Ensure establishment of effective monitoring of performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain. Analyse processes and procedures, and advise of modifications in support of continuous improvement. Ensure effective management of stock and stock levels, and alignment with FEFO and other relevant principles and standards. Drive the design of an optimal supply chain team and ensure the provision of training as required. Oversee the monitoring of supplier performance, assessing the ability to meet quality and delivery requirements, and general compliance with SLAs. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain. Ensure the identification of optimal transportation routes, with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution. Assess the need for load handling equipment and staffing, making recommendation to ensure efficient loading, offloading, receipting, and storage of goods. Ensure optimal health and safety function, to include adherence with health, safety & environment (HSE) requirements of suppliers. Drive development and progression of direct reports, and ensure same for all staff in the department. Perform other related duties as assigned.
