Financial Planning and Analysis:Develop and manage financial forecasts, budgets, and financial models for supply chain operations.Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to drive strategic decision-making.Evaluate the financial impact of supply chain initiatives and recommend cost-saving opportunities.2.
Supply Chain Optimization:Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels, minimize working capital requirements, and improve cash flow.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate financial risks within the supply chain.Conduct regular reviews of supplier contracts, pricing agreements, and payment terms to ensure competitiveness and financial viability.3.
Financial Risk Management:Assess and manage financial risks associated with supply chain operations, including currency fluctuations, commodity price volatility, and supplier credit risk.Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to protect the financial interests of the company.Monitor compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies related to supply chain finance.4.
Stakeholder Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including suppliers, vendors, and financial institutions.Communicate financial performance, key metrics, and insights to senior management and key stakeholders.Qualifications:CA (SA) only, newly qualified or one year post article experience.Audit experience of FMCG clients preferred.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and variance analysis.Knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and procurement principles.Familiarity with financial systems (ERP, WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience in Syspro would be advantageous.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
