Job Description Key Responsibilities for the Supply Chain Expert include the following: Analyse and optimise supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with organisational goals and market demands.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and coordination of supply chain activities.Utilise advanced data analysis tools to monitor supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply chain operations.Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices, applying relevant insights to ongoing projects.Communicate supply chain strategies and performance metrics to both technical and non-technical audiences, providing actionable recommendations.The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Expert must have the following experience:
Experience in digital transformation projects within supply chain operations.Familiarity with supply chain sustainability practices and green logistics.Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies in supply chain operations.Experience within the IT industry and understands the agriculture industry.Qualifications Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in supply chain management or related areas, preferably in a corporate or technology-focused environment.Proficiency in supply chain optimisation techniques and data analysis tools.Strong analytical skills, with experience using statistical software and supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.What's on Offer Our client will be willing to compensate a market-related increase.
