OverviewTo lead the execution of the end to end (E2E) Supply Chain function for WECA BU in existing and new markets. The role will take full accountability for make and move activity (including Co-Manufacturing, FOBO, Exports and Distributors) to ensure seamless service for customers, as well as operational accountability for Agriculture, Procurement and Franchise Supply Chain.
ResponsibilitiesManage the full provision of Supply Chain services into the geography to meet agreed service levels and customer expectations across FOBO, JVs, COSO and Distributors.Engage the Centres of Excellence to draw in expertise to enhance BU capabilities and drive optimal processes across Supply Chain.Own the talent agenda, striving for best in class talent and ensuring a solid pipeline for plant leadership and other critical roles.Own the S&OP process collaboratively with Commercial to drive maximum efficiencies and optimise service; think 'one team'.Direct ownership of Supply Chain P&L with dedicated Supply Chain AOPs and joint planning. Execute sourcing plans for applicable markets.Delivery of local/BU transformation and productivity initiatives, keeping tight control on manufacturing, inventory and network distribution costs.Oversee quality and engineering execution within assigned geography.Ensure prompt assessment of the demand feed and address any subsequent supply issues.Provide Supply Chain input into the assigned geography's Business Continuity Plan to prevent blackouts in delivery or drops in service level.Develop Organizational Capability in Supply Chain to support the long term strategic plan execution.Provide geo input into the Sector-wide Supply Chain strategy.Be a champion supporter of sector transformation activities to ensure a superior Supply Chain, leveraging scale across AMSESA.Champion Employee Value Proposition activities to ensure PepsiCo Supply Chain is attractive to external talents.QualificationsBroad & deep SC know-how & E2E Leadership (Mnf/CS&L/CM) – 10 – 15 years.Relationship Management (Customer/BU/functions) in matrix.Deep Customer Understanding.Strategy/Business Transformation.Strong people leader with ability to keep team focused on right priorities (Champion Talent Developer & Delivers the Right Results).Transformational and Inspirational Leader.Forward thinking attitude with a desire to innovate the Supply Chain (Embraces Challenges and risks).Supply Chain experience in Africa, working with Co-Manufacturors, Distributors, Exports and Procurement, across East & West Africa.Strong collaborator.
