Supply Chain Coordinator Ndabeni Pinelands Cape Town Our product/brand company client in Pinelands is looking for a Supply Chain Co-ordinator Ndabeni Pinelands Cape Town.
The role is to execute the production plan so that constant production is maintained.
Ensure that stock is received and to coordinate customer orders accurately. Salary Negotiable Minimum QualificationCertificate or Diploma in Supply Chain or LogisticsMinimum 3 years in a Supply Chain or Logistics environment including exposure to international supply chains, working with freight forwarders and distribution channelsProficiency in computer applications, particularly intermediate Excel skillsKnowledge of Syspro software Key ResponsibilitiesCapturing of all purchase orders and jobs in SysproPlace purchase orders and jobs with manufacturers and suppliersLiaise with manufacturers and suppliers on delivery dates, resolve any queries and escalate any concernsManage stock in inspection, sampling and release from the QA departmentSupport the sourcing of new suppliers and grow the relationship with current suppliersSupport any supplier pricing improvement projectsReceive all sales orders and process on the ERP systemUpload orders to the external warehouse order fulfilment system.
Ensure stock is allocated and rotated according to agreed standardsUpload and instruct 3rd parties to pick and pack orders, arrange transport for deliveries and issue customer invoicesIdentify and drive opportunities for improvements in terms of service improvement and overall cost reduction for the complete supply chain.
