Supplier Quality Engineer

Supplier Quality Engineer required for a reputable automotive company based in Rosslyn Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Develop and maintain supplier quality standards and requirements.Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate performance and compliance.Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics, including defect rates and delivery performance.Lead initiatives to improve supplier quality and reduce production defects.Work with cross-functional teams to support new product launches and ensure supplier readiness.Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to supplier quality.Qualifications:Over 5 years experience fulfilling a similar role within the automotive industryBachelor's degree in Engineering / Quality or related field.Proven experience in supplier quality management within the automotive industry.Strong understanding of quality standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO/TS 16949).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive continuous improvement.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams.Proficiency in quality tools and software (e.g., statistical analysis, FMEA, PPAP).
