Supervisor: Production (Durban)

Purpose:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the production of quality desktops, servers and notebooks are completed on time and in a cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities:

Assist in the daily production line functions and processes.
Managing the production team daily.
Planning and organising of daily production schedules / orders.
Overseeing of the daily operations and processes on the production line.
Assessing project and resource requirements.
Determining quality control standards.
Monitoring production output and costs, and adjusting processes and resources to minimise costs.
Taking accountability and responsibility for the overall management of stock within these areas.
Assist in the management of a successful team and help ensure staff competency according to performance evaluation plans.



Qualification and Experience:

Matric
CompTIA A+
Tertiary qualification would be an advantage
Min of 1 year supervisory or management experience in a technical (IT) production environment
