Supervisor of a Manufacturing PlantA leading company in the red meat industry is looking for a Supervisor of a Manufacturing Plant with manufacturing plant/meat production experience to supervise the end-to-end production process, including filling, drying, packing, wrapping, and labeling of all boerewors/sausage, burgers, meatballs, and pet mince.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProductionResponsible for boerewors/sausage production process.Develop, review and implement efficient and effective procedures and processes to optimize production.Responsible for the delivery of product according to a set standard, at a reasonable cost and productivity.Stock control management (stock rotation).Ensure product meets all customer requirements, especially but not limited to product appearance, packing, and labeling.Oversee that hygiene standards are applied throughout all processes and procedures.Responsible for the application of the correct selection criteria and quality standards (e.g., neatness; sequence, etc.)
