Supervisor - Housekeeping

This permanent position requires a competent experienced person with a sound practical background in housekeeping supervision, preferably in the hospitality industry. The applicant must be reliable, demonstrate high energy levels, could complete and reach high quality work levels on a continuous basis, have good mannerisms with even temperament, and display a sympathetic caring attitude towards older persons.
Key Responsibilities:
Experience in motivating, training and guiding a small housekeeping team in line with Company policies and procedures and instructions from Management.
Assisting with queries and complaints from Villagers.
Knowledge of labour legislation and disciplinary procedures.
Responsible for overall day to day administration and operational functions; and
Ensure all operational equipment is maintained and in good working order.
Key Requirements:
A code 08 (EB) driver's licence.
Ability to effectively communicate in English, Afrikaans and / or Xhosa.
PC literacy and experience with MS Office applications.
A Matric Certificate; and
Minimum of 2 years Supervisory experience in housekeeping.
