Introduction
Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Supervisor Administrator Site to be placed at Mponeng project in Carletonville. The successful candidate will report to the Site Accountant. The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates. Applications only open to South African Citizens / Permanent Residents.
Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
Effectively lead and supervise a team of administrators
Effective and timeous administrative support
Effective administration of reporting systems, report irregularities and correct timeously
Accurate and complete cost allocations within deadlines
Accurate AWOP, overtime and short shift reports
Accurate capture of employee leave on Sage, verify against time-sheets and escalate irregularities
Communicate changes in work activities and new information / procedures to team timeously
Adhere to company procedures, signing authorities and budgetary processes
Maintain administrative documents in line with auditing requirements
Effective controls to ensure data integrity and effective record keeping
Proactive risk identification and mitigation
Effective team and self-management in alignment with M&RC's values
Minimum requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
National Diploma in Cost & Management Accounting at NQF Level 6 or similar finance tertiary qualification
MS Office proficient (Excel essential)
Exposure to ERP systems, preferably JDE
Exposure to Time & Attendance systems, preferably Blick
Exposure to an Employee Self Service system, preferably Sage
Good English verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills with ability to interact at all levels
Ability to lead and supervise a team
Analytical with attention to detail
Medically fit to work underground (Including HTS & RFA)
Clear criminal record
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
At least 5 years of experience in project costing and administration, preferably in a contract mining environment
Experience handling queries relating to costing and budgets
Experience working on JDE, Sage and Blick, or similar systems
Experience working on cost accruals, provisions and journals
Experience working on AWOP, overtime and short shift reports
