Job Description Day to Day Responsibilities: Overall up keep and maintenance of the studio and the content within the studio. Ensure studio is locked when unattended at all times.
All connecting doors within the studio and all windows to be closed. Ensure all outside cushions/furniture are packed away and pack away timeously if rain threatening Check on a daily basis what shoots are booked in the studio and discuss with the relevant Producer what will be required. Arrange regular cleaning of studio as well as in prep for shoot or on wrap from a shoot Ensure fridges are cleaned out and old food/styling etc is removed. Stock take for our props box (i.e.
ensure we have gaffer tape, anti-flare etc) and advise of any purchases that need to be made Reporting any issues with broken doors/light bulbs etc and supervising any repairs Photograph all props and update excel spreadsheets so that these can be used by Creatives to select props for shoots. Report any damaged gear Log props in and out when used and ensure they are returned Going forward any new props to be photographed and logged on the Props spreadsheets along with purchase value Report and record any damaged props Checking in with direct line manager to offer additional support for shoots Ensuring all the no essential items are put back into the storage room and are packed neatly for easy access All equipment and scrims to be checked at time to time to see in working order. Assisting with uploading assets to Content Hub when requested At time to time might be required to assist other team members should it be known that there are no current shoots or upcoming shoots and therefore your time can be used effectively. Create systems to/and manage all equipment, props, wardrobe & any other inventory. Shoot Days: Open up and close studio on each shoot day Ensure that extension cords are available for crew/agency/client Ensure the water machines are full and plugged in prior to shoot. Set up catering tables and umbrellas if there is not a PA available Check with production team for catering and if any assistance required. Set up studio for shoots as directed by the relevant Producer (moving of furniture, tea/coffees etc) All equipment, gear, photography, scrims and backgrounds belonging to Prodigious and ensure it is all present and packed away correctly after use. Assist with arranging of suppliers to have access to bring gear in and out and arrange parking Required to be a runner on set and can be called on to carry and fetch if urgent supply's are required on the shoot Other Agency utilising of studio: If studio is being used by other Clients, ensure the studio is quoted for and oversee that no props, equipment removed, utilised etc. Cost estimate approval has to be received before any shoot commences and a PO provided from internal agency.
