Student Advisor

Salary: R 13 000 - R 15 000 Basic Plus Commission
Location: Durban
The Academic Institution in the Higher Education Sector is seeking a Student Advisor. The ideal candidate will possess a three-year Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or PR, along with at least 2 years of sales experience and excellent sales closing ability.
Responsibilities: Initiating, building, and managing relationships with prospective students and parents throughout the recruitment process.Reporting on individual sales activities per set targets.Student acquisition and establishing productive relationships with teachers, principals, and relevant partners.Building and managing relationships with prospective students and their parents during the application process.Administrative duties including capturing data of leads, appointments, applications, and registrations.Keeping updated records of interactions with prospective students.Creating student files and processing applications.Preparing sales figures and statistics, and following up on payments for applications and registrations.Requirements: Three-year Diploma or Degree in PR, Business, Marketing, Communications, or Sales (experience in a related field may be considered).At least 2 years of sales experience.Experience in managing and closing the sales cycle.Experience with Customer Relationship Management software.Experience in the higher education industry.Customer service oriented.Target driven and able to work well under pressure.Good telephone etiquette.Proactive and highly self-motivated.Computer literacy (Microsoft programs).Must be able to travel.Own vehicle is required.Apply: ******
