The ideal candidate will be responsible for quoting, designing and analyzing the structural components of buildings, ensuring safety, performance, and aesthetic appeal . You will collaborate closely with architects and draft persons. Key Responsibilities: Quoting: Quote for structural design on architects or draftsmans generated projects Structural Design: Create detailed designs and engineering specifications for building structurers, including foundation, decks & superstructures. Analysis: Perform structural analysis using software tools to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Materials Selection: Evaluate and recommend appropriate materials for structural components, considering factors like weight, strength, and corrosion resistance. Documentation: Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for design and analysis processes. Project Management: Assist in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, ensuring timely completion of structural components. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs meet relevant safety and environmental regulations. Quality Control: Participate in inspections and quality assurance processes during construction to ensure design integrity. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering or technical diploma. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Structural Engineering, preferably in the Building & Construction industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural analysis software e.g.: PROCON, CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD or similar), and familiarity with Revit an advantage. Knowledge: Strong understanding of materials science, structural design principles, and applicable engineering standards.
