Hire Resolve is looking for a Structural Draftsperson to join our client's bridge team in Tshwane.
The candidate will collaborate with our engineering team to create detailed design documents for bridges and other civil structures on international projects.
Role Responsibilities: Work with structural engineers to develop detailed documentation for bridges and other projects.
Create and update AutoCAD/Revit drawings and details for structures.
Ensure that the designs are technically sound.
Produce accurate construction documents that meet project requirements.
Review drafting work for accuracy and completeness.
Communicate with team members to coordinate projects effectively.
Follow company standards for quality control and project management.
Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in Revit software.
Requirements 3 to 10 years of Revit experience in the structures/bridges industry.
Experience drafting reinforced concrete and structural steel work.
Ability to adapt to changing project needs in a dynamic environment.
Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Strong skills in interpreting and communicating complex technical information.
Willingness to learn new skills and tools.
Additional Requirements: Experience with AutoDesk Revit/AutoCAD for construction documentation.
Drafting experience in structures (required).
Bridge experience is a plus.
A diploma or formal drafting training is advantageous.
Familiarity with AutoDesk Civil 3D is a plus.
Experience in reinforcement detailing is advantageous.
Knowledge of bridge design and construction principles.
Ability to read and understand structural drawings.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
