Job Description:
Objectives of the Role:
The role will be focused on owning the 20|20 product and ensuring this is fully embedded within the business teams. In addition, the Strategy Director will be tasked with building and developing strategy plans for client accounts, including how to embed, develop and grow client accounts within a fast-changing, highly complex target audience environment. A significant part of this role will be about building strategic planning capability across client account teams as part of Mediacom's Content and Connections strategy.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Skills
•Provide overall strategic advice on brand communications by applying Mediacom Content and Connections approach
•Own and drive 20|20 as the communication planning discipline for holistic solutions on brands, categories and client accounts.
•Strong analytical capabilities – comfortable with numbers to provide strategic recommendations by using all available data
2. Client Account Management
•Where appropriate ensure strategic responses align with agreed global and multi-market direction.
•Work with central elements of global teams to represent and champion the MENA region
•Ability to engage senior marketing people within client business
•Anticipation of clients' needs and setting up internal process to meet them•Ensures team, at all levels, is able to engage client effectively and efficiently •Responsible for client interaction and to ensure the success of the relationship
•Lead on client strategy meetings, QBRs, etc.
3. Operating and Technical Requirements
•Improve interfaces between channels to deliver connected solutions to client accounts
•Build capabilities in diversified offerings such as content, digital, analytics, etc.
•Fluent in the 20|20 product ensuring all media staff across the MENA region are proficient and confident in their use and communication of its components.
4. People Management
• Supporting client leads on assigned business to deliver strong strategies and connected planning consistently and constantly o Management and development of team staff
o Maintain high level of motivation amongst team members
• Strong capability in building team capability and investing in growing a first-class strategic planning function within market
• To build a strong talent pipeline across the region which will strengthen the strategic planning offering
