Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Skills Development:Collaborate with senior leadership to understand organizational priorities and shape long-term skills development strategies.Conduct comprehensive skills gap analyses to identify current and future training needs.Program Design and Implementation:Develop and implement innovative, tailored training programs that address critical business objectives and operational needs.Partner with external subject matter experts and co-create programs for specialized skills development.Stakeholder Engagement:Engage with all levels of the organization to gather insights and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Collaborate with HR Operations to integrate training with broader talent management strategies.Leadership and Mentorship:Lead and inspire a team of training professionals, ensuring effective delivery and measurable impact of training initiatives.Act as a thought leader, bringing innovative solutions to workforce challenges.Performance and Outcomes:Establish metrics for success and provide regular updates on the effectiveness of training programs.Deliver actionable insights to leadership, ensuring alignment with shareholder expectations and business goals.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Advanced certifications in Leadership Development, Learning Design, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma are a plus.Experience:Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic training management or a similar senior-level role within manufacturing or industrial sectors, with preference for MERSETA knowledge.Proven track record of managing large-scale, high-impact training programs.Technical Expertise:Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, workforce development, and regulatory compliance.Proficiency in leveraging Learning Management Systems (LMS) and performance tracking tools.Key CompetenciesVisionary thinker with the ability to translate strategy into actionable training solutions.Exceptional stakeholder management skills, adept at engaging diverse audiences.Data-driven decision-making with a focus on measurable outcomes.Agile and resilient, capable of thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
