Strategic Operations Specialist

Our client is searching for a Strategic Operations Specialist for their BANK team. Role Responsibilities: Extensive knowledge of all operational processes within the Bank Collections team, including client-specific programs, bank-specific programs and internal processes on how they all link together. Extensive knowledge of how Debit Orders work and the different rules per collection method (DebiCheck and EFT Debit Orders) Identifying any issues or potential upgrades in the process and communicating the changes and fixes to needed developers. Designing new programs to enhance the process and minimizing manual intervention. Liaising with the clients on any specific business rules changes for potential increase in collection success. Writing User Requirements and Specifications on the changes and analyzing how any changes may impact or improve the current process. Mapping existing processes to identify optimization opportunities. Mapping new processes to ensure that the correct process is followed by the developers as expected by business operations. Managing the developers' priorities. Assisting with End-to-End testing of changes. Assisting operational staff in data queries and checks to ensure the clients' business rules are applied correctly before sending transactions to the bank. Processing Bank Response files. Extracting and compiling statistics and reports for internal stakeholders and clients. Must haves: Strong in SQL. Non-negotiable Strong in processes Middle person between DEVS and Team. Someone who will be able to translate Operations requirements to technical people and vice versa Strong problem-solving skills.
