ACTUARY - STRATEGIC CLIENTS SOLUTIONS MANAGERExcellent opportunity for a highly experienced ACTUARY - STRATEGIC CLIENTS SOLUTIONS MANAGER, experienced in the overall assessments of value propositions assessment and analysis and to provide holistic solutions.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSales and supportLead proposals for large strategic clients (presentations, proposal documents).Present at client pitches, ongoing meetings, and broker engagements.Compile material (articles) rolled out through strategic campaigns.Liaise with media and marketing to manage the rollout of campaigns and engagements.Maintain relationships with key stakeholders at large clients.Internal supportCollaborate with the Technical Marketing heads across the different business units.Support senior executives with ad-hoc actuarial requirements (pricing, annual results).Present at relevant internal Exco forums.Unlock synergies within the company by driving collaboration across product houses.Data analysis and insightsLead a data insights function that uncovers new trends/statistics.Present trends at strategic client or broker engagements.Coordinate cross-company data access and analytics for the team.Understand competitors and published trends to stay ahead of the curve.Write articles/material that can be used to position the company as a thought leader.Develop actuarial white papers to drive thought leadership.Contribute to product design by supporting R&D heads across the different business units.Work with R&D to help position new solutions for strategic clients.Build calculators/tools that help advisers and strategic clients understand our proposition.Measure the effectiveness of different methods of support for large clients.Build relationships with:The company's sales consultants and intermediaries.Back-office operations.Training teams.Marketing services.The company management and executives.Desired Experience & QualificationQualified actuary / nearly qualified actuary.5-10 years actuarial experience.Top achiever.Excellent English and presentation skills.Knowledge of the corporate and employee benefits industry in SA.
