The Strategic Business Development Manager (SBDM) supports the Strategic Business Development Executive (SBDE) in achieving aggressive revenue targets and recruiting top-performing advisors.
The SBDM focuses on executing Value Creation Plans (VCPs), identifying business growth opportunities, and recruiting advisors with high growth potential.
This role requires a strong background in business development within the non-banking financial services industry or experience in developing and executing business growth strategies.
The position is in Pretoria or Bellville.
Your Qualification: Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Additional qualifications in business management or financial planning are a plus.
And Experience : 8-12 years of experience in business development within financial services, preferably in the non-banking sector.
Proven ability to execute business growth strategies and achieve measurable outcomes.
Familiarity with advisor recruitment, management, and growth.

Support in Value Creation Plans (VCPs) Collaborate with the SBDE to develop and implement tailored VCPs for top-performing advisors.
Conduct research and analysis to identify growth opportunities within advisor practices.
Monitor VCP execution, ensuring alignment with growth objectives and providing regular feedback to the SBDE and advisors.
Assist advisors in utilizing technology platforms such as Wealth Connect, Efficient Connect, and Efficient Marketplace for enhanced client engagement and operational efficiency.

Advisor Recruitment and Onboarding Actively support the SBDE in identifying and recruiting top-performing advisors aligned with Efficient Groups growth objectives.
Manage onboarding processes for new advisors, ensuring they are equipped to utilize Efficient Groups platforms and achieve early success.
Collaborate with advisors to define growth strategies for their practices, focusing on long-term sustainability and profitability.

Technology Enablement Guide advisors in adopting and integrating Efficient Groups technology platforms into their workflows.
Track and report on technology adoption metrics, highlighting opportunities for improvement or additional training.
Provide first-line support to advisors using the platforms, escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams.

Advisor Relationship Management Maintain strong relationships with advisors, acting as a primary point of contact for their business development needs.
Assist in resolving challenges advisors face in implementing VCPs or achieving growth targets.
Support the SBDE in organizing and conducting regular advisor reviews, tracking progress against goals.
5. Business Development Execution Identify and analyse new business opportunities to contribute to the Groups strategic growth initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams to align advisor development initiatives with overall company goals.
Contribute to the development of marketing and sales strategies to attract high-performing advisors and enhance their engagement.
