We're on the hunt for a Stores Works Order Control Supervisor to join our team and ensure smooth coordination of materials and components from the start to the finish of works orders.
Works Order Management: Maintain and update Excel schedules for material availability and data accuracy.Monitor and manage works orders, ensuring completeness and addressing over-issues.Handle non-conforming goods according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).Conduct weekly cycle counts and maintain stock accuracy at =98%.Stock Preservation: Enforce FIFO principles to optimize stock usage.Conduct random audits to ensure compliance.Ensure all components are packaged and stored to meet quality standards.Health, Safety, and Facility Management: Promote adherence to Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) procedures.Lead safety/toolbox talks and conduct monthly safety audits.Oversee facility upkeep, including Smart Centre updates and bi-weekly meetings.Minimum: Matric (NQF 3)
Advantageous: Stock Control Certificate
Experience: 2 years in a similar role, with proficiency in E1/JDE systems and strong computer skills.
