Job Purpose:Are you an experienced leader in inventory management with a knack for ensuring efficient material flow? We are looking for a dynamic Stores Supervisor to oversee our inventory operations, ensuring that our materials move seamlessly in and out of stores. You will be responsible for managing a team, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that our production lines are always well-supplied. If you have a passion for organization, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead and motivate a team, this role is perfect for you.Qualifications:National Certificate and qualification in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.Certification in supervisory skills or a related qualification.Ideal Experience:Minimum of 6 years' experience in a supply chain, stores management, or inventory control role, with a strong background in material handling and supplying to production lines.Previous experience working in a store/warehouse environment.Technical Skills & Expertise:Proficient in MS Office and experience working with MRP systems like Q-Muzik.Strong understanding of continuous improvement initiatives and the ability to implement them effectively.Expertise in picking orders from inventory and verifying items against work orders.Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost management techniques.Experience in handling, packing, labeling, and storing materials according to store protocols.Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management: Accurately record all stock movements and ensure timely flow of materials into and out of the store.Team Leadership: Lead and manage the stores team, ensuring high performance through regular coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.Order Fulfillment: Oversee the picking and issuing of materials against orders, ensuring that all internal and external deliveries are timely and accurate.Shipping Coordination: Work closely with the shipping department to ensure all necessary shipping documents are completed and shipments are processed according to protocol.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all goods received are processed according to specified procedures and that inventory records are maintained accurately.Operational Efficiency: Manage all stores-related activities, including picking, binning, deliveries, and issuing of materials, while continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement.Employee Management: Handle work-related issues, such as leave administration, disciplinary actions, and performance management, maintaining accurate records in the system.Behavioral Competencies:Customer Service & Market Orientation: Dedication to exceeding the needs of internal and external customers, ensuring smooth operations across the board.Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with others, fostering a cooperative environment to achieve common goals.Quality Commitment & Work Standards: Consistently delivering high-quality work, even under pressure, with a focus on continuous improvement.Technical Mastery & Continuous Learning: A commitment to ongoing learning and sharing knowledge with others to solve technical and procedural challenges.Accountability & Ownership: A goal-driven mindset, taking full responsibility for delivering work to a high standard, on time, and with the right quality.Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring all processes and records are accurate and complete.Negotiation & Conflict Management: Effective in representing your position and negotiating win-win solutions while managing conflicts constructively.Planning & Organizing: Strong ability to prioritize, schedule, and adapt plans as needed to meet changing requirements.Why Join Us?This is your chance to join a company that values innovation, efficiency, and teamwork.
