Our Client is looking to employ a Store Manager based in Vereeniging, Gauteng. Objective of the Job: Under the general direction of the Commercial Operations Manager, the Overall management of the company's warehouse/stores and goods storage.

Provide efficient stores support service: Establish efficient security, stock control, and optimum storage conditions for all product lines.Oversee the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods in the stores.Ensure orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the correct destinations and in the right quantities.Play a hands-on role in managing, motivating, and directing the stores workforce.Implement and manage efficient systems to account for all incoming materials/goods.Ensure all goods are stored securely and safely in conditions suitable for the raw materials/finished products.Ensure the health, safety, and cleanliness of the work environment.Conduct regular cleaning and inspections to maintain high hygiene standards in compliance with legislative requirements.Monitor stock levels and rotate stock considering production dates where applicable.Process and track orders for distribution and incoming deliveries, maintaining accurate records of all goods in and out of storage.Establish and meet quality objectives for the stores facilities.Operate within the allocated budget.Meet delivery deadlines by working efficiently with available resources.Produce accurate daily reports, including records of products issued, sold, and returned.Keep detailed records of damaged stock and the nature of the damage, as well as records of free stock issues and reasons for their issue.Constantly seek new ways to improve stores efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Oversee the maintenance and servicing of all stores machinery and equipment.Engage with senior management by providing input on all aspects of storage and distribution.2.
Effective people management of warehouse support staff: Train and motivate all stores staff as required.Provide regular performance reports and updates.Recruit all stores staff.Handle all disciplinary matters in the stores workforce in line with company policy and labor laws.3.
