Storeman

This position provides store operational duties that includes the issuing of tools and equipment to employees.
Handling records of cost savings, transferring data into computer files, comparing prices on invoice received from suppliers and re-ordering systems.
Communicating the availability of material and tools to employees and maintaining the outlook of the store through cleaning and stocking material.
1.
The transferring of data from paper formats into computer files or via Pastel database systems.
2.
Typing in data provided directly from suppliers GRN via Pastel.
3.
Comparing unit prices
4.
Ensure all relevant documentation is issued to Finance department for capturing.
5.
Updating the store's scanner
6.
Receiving, locating, preparing, and issuing materials, tools and/or stock from requisition lists, in tool and/or stock and/or material stores directly linked to the shop floor and production process, (n.e.s) including –
a.
Stock issuing, Stock replenishment, Stock receiving, Monitoring stock levels
b.
Journal the scanned items.
c. Request outstanding certificates from suppliers and scan and save received certs in a chronological order on the network.
d. Creating staff codes & printing store related barcodes
