Storeman

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storeman to assist in managing our inventory and ensuring the smooth operation of the various Storerooms at our Head Office. The Storeman will be responsible for receiving, storing, and organizing materials and products in the correct and assigned Storeroom. They will also be responsible for completing inventory checks, keeping accurate records, and assisting with delivery and receiving tasks. Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products Organize and maintain inventory in an efficient and orderly manner Complete regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies Prepare and package materials for delivery Assist with procurement and deliveries and other tasks, as and when required Keep and maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification A relevant tertiary qualification will be an added advantage Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a warehouse, storeroom or inventory management role Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Basic Numeracy Ability to lift and move heavy objects Computer literate and experience in Microsoft Excel, procurement and inventory tracking systems Good communication and interpersonal skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have a valid driver's license and own reliable motor vehicle.
