My client has a vacant position for a Storeman Candidates who meet the below minimum requirements are invited to submit their application via the link provided. Minimum requirements: Technical experience – a qualification in warehouse management will be an advantage A pro-active disposition and desire to anticipate events and take timeous remedial action Two years or more experience in warehouse management Physical ability to handle stock and take part in stock counts Computer literacy – Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Symport Matric Experience in a wholesale or retail environment A valid driver's license and PDP - preferably code 10 Duties will include: Inventory control Facilitating the daily deliveries of goods to customers To ensure the daily administrative tasks are completed To ensure that the business image is maintained and promoted within the market Liaison with existing customers/suppliers in a manner in which would further promote the profitability of the branch Compliance with relevant EH&S obligations Daily cycle counts and any other administrative duties as required Compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures Driving the company vehicle to deliver certain orders to customers or to site, when needed Look after the maintenance of the company vehicle IMPORTANT: Applications close 15 July 2024 If you did not receive feedback within 14 days, you application is unsuccessful Only applications submitted via the Ditto Jobs platform will be considered Only candidates who meet all our client's minimum requirements will be contacted
