We need a self-driven individual with:Experience: Relevant experience as a Storeman or in a similar role, ideally within mining, construction, or industrial sectors.Organizational Skills: Strong inventory management and organizational capabilities.Technical Savvy: Computer literacy is essential.Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and/or Afrikaans with excellent communication skills.Mobility: Valid Drivers Licence and access to reliable transport.Availability: Willingness to work weekends and overtime as required. Your ResponsibilitiesAs a key team member, you will:Receive & Inspect: Verify incoming materials and ensure accurate documentation of deliveries.Store & Organize: Manage materials, tools, and equipment to maintain a well-organized and efficient inventory system.Material Issuance: Supply project teams with requested materials and ensure proper usage tracking.Inventory Management: Conduct regular stocktakes, monitor levels, and maintain accurate records.Safety Compliance: Ensure materials are labeled and stored in line with safety and environmental standards.Monitor Condition: Identify and report damaged or expired materials.Logistics Support: Assist with logistics planning to meet project deadlines.Collaboration: Work closely with procurement and project managers to ensure material availability.Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storage area.Material Handling: Assist with the loading and unloading of materials as needed.Please Note: If you do not receive a response within two weeks, kindly consider your application unsuccessful.Make your mark on this exciting project and take the next step in your career!
