Proven ability to establish rapport and build strong relationships with a portfolio of clients, including senior executives.A valid drivers license and access to a personal vehicle are essential.Attributes, Skills, and CompetenciesProficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Strong presentation skills, particularly for kick-off and report-back meetings.Demonstrated verification/auditing expertise and knowledge of audit concepts.Ability to manage tight deadlines effectively.Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with diverse individuals and cultures.Conflict management and mature handling of challenging situations.Team-oriented mindset and adaptability.Basic knowledge of company law.A professional demeanour and high ethical standards.Understanding of accounting systemsResponsibilities:Overview: This role involves verifying the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) Status of small, medium, and large companies, including JSE-listed and multinational organizationsPerform BBBEE verifications in accordance with the DTIs BBBEE Codes of Good Practice, sector codes, and the companys verification methodology.Conduct client kick-off meetings independently and foster client relationships.Interpret, verify, and effectively communicate all elements of the BBBEE scorecard, excluding complex ownership structures.Prepare comprehensive and high-quality verification files and finalize results.Present findings to client teams of up to 8 people.Address objections, manage challenging questions, and navigate conflict situations.Provide expert responses to client inquiries regarding B-BBEE verification and implementation issues.Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
