Job DescriptionResponsibilities: Provide feedback to management regarding stock issues and movementsDrive the ultimate customer experienceEnsure sales targets are metManage the receiving and dispatching of stockProcess stock within specified time framesFacilitate efficient rotation of stock, from the stockroom to the sales floorEnsure the neatness and housekeeping standards are world-classManage shrinkage in line with company standardsQualifications: A Grade 12 qualification or equivalent2 years stockroom experience (advantageous)Hospitality background (advantageous)Skills: A customer-centric attitude and approachExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to give direction to stockroom teamMust be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including weekends and evening shiftsCompetencies and Behaviors for Success: Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasmEffectively building formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organizationBuilding strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutionsMaking good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forwardAnticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology applicationsCreating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectivesUsing a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknessesGood verbal/written communication skills and good organizational skillsStrong organizational and planning skillsThe ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentThe ability to work independentlyThe ability to take initiativeA high level of attention to detailPreference will be given, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
