Stockroom Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stockroom Assistant to help manage our inventory and ensure the smooth operation of the stockroom. This role involves receiving and processing new shipments, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean and orderly stockroom environment.

Stockroom Assistant Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina to lift and move stock items.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.

Stockroom Assistant Key Responsibilities
Inventory Handling: Receive, unpack, and organize new shipments.
Stock Organization: Maintain an orderly stockroom, organizing items for easy access and rotation.
Inventory Tracking: Keep accurate records of inventory, noting any discrepancies.
Stock Replenishment: Restock the sales floor as needed, ensuring products are readily available for customers.
Quality Checks: Inspect merchandise for damage or defects and report any issues.
Tools and Equipment: Maintain and manage stockroom tools and equipment.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, particularly the retail staff, to ensure a cohesive store operation.
