Stockbroking Data Operations Analyst

Senior Stockbroking Operations profile sought to join a successful team. Great opportunity to work closely with the Chief Operating Officer of this team in an exciting phase. Ideal candidate is someone with a data analyst or business analyst background within stockbroking or investments and is passionate about automation, data analytics and digitisation.Responsibilities:Automation of processes and business analysis working with internal stakeholdersProject lead on testing and implementation of new solutionsPerform analytics, interpret data, co-ordinate metrics for senior managementCollaboration with technology teams and business stakeholdersRoot cause analysis of process breachesSystem and user testingDocument and develop business processes Requirements:Minimum of a completed degree BComm / BBusSci / BCompt or similarCompleted or open to doing JSE and RPE exams as required for this roleMinimum of 5 years' experience in a stockbroking environment or similar asset management teamMust have experience and solid understanding of financial instruments and financial marketsExperience in data management and good experience working with databasesAbility to work on and natural aptitude for working on systems and tools such as Advanced Excel, exchange systems, BDA, Mecras, Nutron and Swordfish, Filezilla or similarHigh attention to detail and analyticalTech savvy with a keen interest in automation tools and digital technologiesAccountability and ability to be flexible and take ownershipHighly accurate with excellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to work well under pressureGoal driven with flexibility to work extra hours as requiredThis is an Employment Equity designated opportunity, in line with our clients EE requirements.Please note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
