Location: Nasrec, Gauteng Requirements: Please note this is a fixed term contract Matric 3 years of stock controlling experience within a manufacturing environment Sage Pastel Knowledge Responsibilities: Daily stock count report Provide accurate Packaging Stock counts for the site to production planning and Site procurement. This is to ensure correct planning and purchasing required to meet the production plans. Daily balancing of Issues and Requisitions - Insuring that each and every item (Packaging and Consumable) balances with the quantity of packed goods produced in the Packing Plant. Daily Capturing on Sage - Recording of packaging and Consumables requisitioned and issued on SAGE. This is for the Nasrec site. This is to ensure there is stock on the system for production plan issuing. Daily finished and packaging reconciliation. on excel / Daily reconciliation from sage valuation - Reconciling daily physical counts with what has been issued to production and returned to stores. Check daily variances with extra / short stock with Packing Plant and the Receiving Supervisor. Also check for outstanding GRVs not captured by the Receiving Clerk. Spot cycle counting checks in packaging warehouse. Random physical counts to be completed and verified against SAGE. This is to ensure all quantities submitted daily are correct avoiding or mitigating the risk of theft and ensuring accuracy of month end count. Checking for sufficient stock on the system for IBTs (Inter Branch Transfers) and Customer Order invoicing - Assisting Receiving department on queries for insufficient stock on Sage. This is to ensure Packing department has sufficient quantity on sage at all times and to avoid delays in capturing production on SAGE. Month end count and Variance Analysis / Stock loss & gain report - Reconciling month end count and daily quantities, Analysis of any adjustments passed in Nasrec warehouses To check all corrections are done to sage and reconcile physical with system Issuing and receiving of IBTS - To ensure stock is being sent out and received on Sage. This is to ensure that the three Packaging locations at Nasrec balance SAGE stock to floor stock. Spot check and counts for packaging during the month Complete spot checks and counts on packaging and compare these to daily SAGE counts received from Finance/Stock Accounts. To ensure all counts issued are correct avoiding huge packaging variances at month end. Returns schedule Submit the Returns excel schedule to both Receiving Supervisor and stock accountant per incident.
