Stock Controller

My client, a designer and supplier to tourism-focused retailers nationwide and abroad, is seeking to employ a Stock Controller to join their team. The successful candidate must be a team player with strong IT skills (MS Word, MS Excel). Quickbooks is preferable, but working with Bill of Materials is essential.STOCK CONTROLDaily / Weekly / Monthly stock takes on raw materialsMaking sure that items are correct on QuickbooksWhen substituting (out of stock items), change design and keep track of changesKeep stock of items in storage unit (own transport and a valid driver's license a plus - storage unit is situated 1km from factory)Monthly stock takes on finished goodsADMINISTRATIONCalculating average monthly usage of raw materialsDaily capturing of productionTyping of invoicesCreate suggested orders to suppliers in China / Brazil / India etc. to be signed off by MDReceive stock and bring into systemPlace packaging / production material orders with local suppliersREQUIREMENTS:Must be a team playerStrong IT skills (MS Word, MS Excel)Quickbooks preferable, but working with Bill of Materials essential and non-negotiableWill report directly to MD and work closely with the production team
