TalentSync is currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Stock Controller.
As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management and control processes within our company.
Your role will be crucial in maintaining accurate stock levels, minimizing discrepancies, and ensuring the availability of goods for our operations.
Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
Monitor and analyze inventory movements, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues.
Coordinate and perform regular stock counts and audits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate and communicate with suppliers regarding stock replenishment and deliveries.
Receive and inspect incoming stock, verifying the accuracy of goods received.
Prepare and process documentation related to stock movements, such as purchase orders and transfer requests.
Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and policies.
Collaborate with relevant departments to forecast and plan stock requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding stock handling and storage.
Utilize inventory management software to track and manage stock.
Identify opportunities for improving inventory management processes and efficiency.
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in inventory management or related field preferred.
Prior experience in stock control or inventory management role preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
Proficient in using inventory management software and tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Knowledge of inventory control procedures and best practices.
