The Stock Controller will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, ensuring accuracy in stock records, and optimizing stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.Duties & ResponsibilitiesRequirementsMatricProven experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar roleStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trendsExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keepingProficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft ExcelEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsKnowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in stock controlDutiesManage and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including incoming and outgoing stockCoordinate with management and warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goodsConduct regular stock counts and audits to reconcile physical stock with system recordsIdentify discrepancies or variances in stock levels and investigate root causesImplement and maintain efficient stock control procedures to minimize shrinkage and lossesMonitor inventory turnover rates and make recommendations for optimizing stock levelsGenerate reports on stock levels, movement, and trends for management reviewCollaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan stock replenishment accordinglyEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to stock management and controlSalary: R negotiable dependent on experience
