The Stock Control Manager is responsible for managing the inventory and stock control of parts and forklifts between suppliers, dealerships, and customers.
This role involves overseeing stock movements, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Stock Management: Track and manage the movement of parts and forklifts between suppliers, dealerships, and customers.Inventory Control: Use manual and computer-based systems to update inventory records, spreadsheets, and online listings.Technical Knowledge: Assist with managing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic parts, applying knowledge of technical manuals and schematics.Administrative Support: Perform administrative duties such as updating logs, processing orders, and maintaining inventory records.Safety & Compliance: Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment, complying with all safety regulations and company policies.Shop Maintenance: Manage shop supplies, tools, and equipment to ensure smooth operations.Sales Support: Assist with sales and promotional activities by ensuring stock availability for orders and promotions.Reporting: Provide regular reports on stock levels, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues. Qualifications & Requirements: Experience: Prior experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably in a technical or mechanical environment.Technical Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and apply technical manuals and schematics.Systems Proficiency: Experience with manual and computer-based inventory systems, spreadsheets, and online directories.Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy in stock tracking.Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols in inventory and warehouse management.Communication Skills: Ability to effectively coordinate with suppliers, dealerships, and internal teams.This role requires an organized, detail-oriented individual with strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage inventory in a fast-paced environment.
