IntroductionClicks is on the hunt for an exceptional Stock Clerk to provide a service to the picking department by administering stock movements and stock adjustments within a specific section to ensure that physical stock within the DC balances with stock on the system thus ensuring accurate stockholding to meet customer and scorecard requirements. Position is based at Montague Gardens DC Cape Town.
Job ObjectivesTo coordinate and maintain stock movement and balances in the section to ensure accuracy of stock.To accept joint responsibility for scratches and adjustments to minimise shrinkage.To ensure efficient and accurate auditing of stock and processes as per sectional scorecard to ensure compliance.To liaise effectively with internal partners to ensure the smooth running of the section to meet DC requirements.To investigate deviations between physical and system stock in order to report and rectify where necessary.To adhere to statutory health and safety requirements, housekeeping standards and all other internal policies to ensure compliance.To provide support to the picking team by ensuring that the required stock is in the slots to meet infill targets.Job Knowledge:Desirable: General understanding of stock flow in a warehouse.Desirable: Basic materials handling knowledge.Job Related Skills:Essential: Basic Numeracy & Literacy.Essential: Communication- written and verbal.Essential: Problem solving skills.Essential: Conflict resolution and management of conflict skills.Essential: Attention to detail.Essential: Able to work independently/ team player.Essential: PC literacy (MS Office).Job Experience:Desirable: General warehouse experience.Education:Essential: Matric.Desirable: Maths (subject).Competency Requirements:Adhering to Principles and Values.Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations.Following Instructions and Procedures.Deciding and Initiating Action.Applying Expertise and Technology.Coping with Pressures and Setbacks.Relating and Networking.Adapting and Responding to Change.Achieving Personal Work Goals and Objectives.Persuading and Influencing.Planning and Organising.Why ClicksWe look for customer-obsessed people with a "can do" attitude, that are professional and passionate about their careers.
